Spain refuses to expand settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories

The Spanish Government has declared its opposition to the measures announced by the occupying Government to expand settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Spanish Foreign Ministry’s statement confirmed its opposition to the Israeli government’s decision to build 10,000 houses in the occupied Palestinian territories. and to legalize nine settlements in the West Bank, expressing concern about all unilateral measures, pointing out that the settlement in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is illegal under international law.
