The Council of the Arab Football Association has announced the launch of the King Salman Cup title for the Arab Club Championship as part of the Arab Federation competition for the 2023 season, which will be held through a pre-qualification system and then finals organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. For his part, the Secretary General of the Arab Football Association, Dr. Raja Allah al-Salami, confirmed that “the championship bears a name dear to all Arab athletes and is considered one of the competitions of the Arab Federation for the 2023 season.” with the indication: “The mechanism for participation in the tournament has been sent to all Arab member federations to name their representatives.”
The Secretary General of the Arab Federation indicated that “37 clubs will participate in the championship competition and it will start with a preliminary qualifying round and then a final qualifying round to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia next summer.” Addendum: “Qualification and final dates will be announced later in agreement with the Arab Member Federations.” And with the Saudi Football Federation, which will host the final of the tournament.
