The Saudi Arabian Handball Federation announced yesterday that Ali Al-Alewait, the coach of the Al Noor youth team, has been suspended after what he did in his team’s match against Al Khaleej on Tuesday. Al Noor team coach Ali Al Olaiwat punched and attacked a player from the Persian Gulf.
The crisis developed, and there was an interlacing of hands, and chaos reigned in the hall, which was held at the Al-Nur club, and the fans stormed the stadium.
After the match ended, the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation issued a statement saying: “Based on the unfortunate events that accompanied the match between Al Noor and Al Khaleej in the youth league, which took place at the Al Noor club hall, and on the recommendation of the competition commission, it was decided to write off the coach of the Al-Nur team, Ali Al-Aleweit, from the list of competitions.
The federation of the game emphasized that they would not hesitate to punish anyone who tries to distort the sport.
