Tomorrow, Thursday, Jeddah Governorate will host the draw for the Kingdom’s Elite Girls’ School Football League 2022 Championship which will feature 16 teams (Regional Champions) from School Teams (High School) as the championship competition starts next Saturday and continues until December 24 this year.
Fourteenth High School in Arar, Ninth High School in Onaiz, Fourth High School in Jubail, Thirteenth High School in Qurayyat, Private Schools in Riyadh, Anjal Private High School in Al-Ahs, Talai Al – Ghad Private High School in Tabuk , the seventh high school in Hail, the Anwar Al-Faihaa Civic School in Medina, the Fatima bint Al-Mundhir High School in Al-Baha, the first high school in Jazan, the eleventh high school in Abha, and the third high school in Najran, the Dar High School Al-Khanan in Jeddah, Al-Anjal Private School in Taif, and Al-Mukarrama Eighth High School in Makkah.
The first edition of the School Football League for Girls this year (one of the projects of the Ministry of Sports, which it is implementing in cooperation with the Ministry of Education) began with the training of women teachers in the mechanisms of teaching and football refereeing, as 74 training courses were held and 10 seminars were held, in more than 1,400 teachers from various departments participated. Education in the Kingdom So far, the girls’ school league competition in the general championship at the level of the provinces and regions of the Kingdom has started, 48,324 players representing 4,768 teams from 1,906 public educational institutions, during which 2,353 games in which 6,089 goals were scored, while participating school teams were led and managed by 3,793 coaches. The matches were attended by 637 referees from the District Championship Qualifiers to the High School Stage, from which 16 teams advanced to the next Elite Kingdom Championship.
On the other hand, the Supervisory Committee of the School League, in cooperation with the Saudi School Sports Federation under the Ministry of Education, has completed all preparations for the start of the Kingdom’s Elite Girls’ Football Championship competition.
