Today, Wednesday, China’s Health Commission announced a few minutes ago the easing of coronavirus-related restrictions across the country.
China has lifted the negative test requirement for travelers within the region and said that travelers from regions in China will no longer need to show negative Covid test results, according to a report from the National Health Commission.
The notice stated that areas not designated as high-risk areas could not stop work or production.
She added that asymptomatic COVID patients can also self-isolate at home for five days.
After the announcement on Wednesday, shares in the Asia-Pacific region rose, with Hong Kong leading the gains as China announced further easing of its COVID-19 measures.
