Al-Hajraf: Framework agreement is an important step towards building a Sudanese government

His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, welcomed the joint statement agreeing on an initial political framework for the transition period, which is an important step towards a Sudanese government with civilian leadership in line with constitutional provisions to achieve of the transition period, which will end with elections that will contribute to the realization of the aspirations of the Sudanese people Dr. Al-Hajraf reaffirmed the firm and supportive position of the GCC in everything that will lead to peace, maintain security, stability and development in the sister Republic of Sudan, as well as the support of the Council tripartite mechanism in facilitating dialogue and discussions between the parties to the transitional phase in the Republic of the Sudan.
