Turkey on Monday rejected US condolences over the deaths of six people in a bomb blast in Istanbul, for which Ankara blamed a banned Kurdish group. Interior Minister Suleiman Soylu said in a televised address: “We do not accept a message of condolence from the US Embassy. We reject it.”
