This was stated by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Yemen, Muammar Al-Eryani, in a series of tweets on his page on the social network (Twitter), noting that the capture of this ship confirms the preservation of the regime of the Iranian mullahs. in bombarding Yemeni lands with arms, drones and drugs, pointing out that a number of Iranian ships and sailors engaged in drug smuggling and trafficking have been captured in recent years, which has been used as the main source of funding for their militias in the region, including the Lebanese militia Hezbollah and the Houthis, luring young people into terrorist activities and destroying human potential in target countries.
Noting that the Houthi militias, led by prominent leaders, have created drug trafficking networks with the aim of flooding Yemen with this scourge, using it as a source of funding for their subversion, and inciting thousands of deceived young people into their ranks, brainwashing them and sending them as fuel for their absurd battles aimed at the security and stability of Yemen and the region.
Al-Eryani concluded his tweets by calling on the international community, the United Nations, the permanent members of the Security Council, and UN and US officials to take a clear stand on Iran’s meddling in Yemen and its continued arms and drug smuggling. in flagrant violation of international law and the charters and resolutions of the Security Council relating to the Yemeni crisis.
