An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit the southern coast of Italy.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 269 km, off the coast of the Calabria region in southern Italy.
Italy’s civil defense department said no property or human damage was found from the quake.
