Tunisian President Kais Syed confirmed that the Tunisian state will not give up its social role and strengthen the right to health and social security. The Tunisian channel Nesma reported that a meeting took place between Kais Syed and Malik Ezzakhi, the Minister of Social Affairs of Tunisia, during which they discussed the progress of the Ministry of Social Affairs and directions of its activities to support those in need.
Said stressed that the Tunisian state will not give up its social role and secure the right to health, social security and other fundamental rights in deeds, and not just in texts.
President Said explained that “texts are placed in such a way that they cannot be published in the official gazette without finding a way to implement them, as happened in past years when texts were placed in which those who posted them know that they won’t find their way. and Tunisian men and women are demanding in speeches and protests the activation of this law or this order, which has been in force for years, but in reality had no effect.
