According to the results of the draw for the Asian Youth Cup under 20, which took place yesterday, on Wednesday, in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, our youth team got into group D along with Japan, China and Kyrgyzstan.
Uzbekistan will host the tournament from 1 to 18 March 2023.
The tournament will be attended by 16 teams that qualified after the qualification campaign and will return again after a 4-year break, knowing that the final will be held in Uzbekistan from March 1 to March 18, 2023.
The 16 participating teams were divided into four groups.
The ten teams that topped their groups during the qualifying campaign advanced to the final along with the top 5 runners-up and joined host Uzbekistan.
According to the draw system, the host team of Uzbekistan took first place in the ranking, and the results of the last Asian Under-19 Championship in Indonesia were used to rank the rest of the teams.
The top four teams in the tournament will qualify for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will take place in Indonesia from May 20 to June 11, 2023.

Group B: Qatar – Australia – Vietnam – Iran.
Group C: Korea – Tajikistan – Jordan – Amman.
