Yesterday morning, the Israeli army stormed several blocks of the West Bank city of Nablus and arrested 4 civilians.
The Palestinian news agency, citing local sources, reported that Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Nablus, raided a house in the Khalat al-Amud area, and arrested a citizen.
A large Israeli army surrounded the home of the Mabrouk family, a Chechen, in the Austrian quarter and arrested one of the family members. They also raided the home of the Al-Badawi family in the Al-Mahfiye district and arrested one of their members too after subjecting them to a field investigation.
On Tuesday, tens of thousands of Palestinians attended the funeral of the bodies of five young people killed in the Israeli military operation in Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Mourners at the funeral raised Palestinian flags and black banners and chanted patriotic slogans condemning the Israeli operation. The secretary of the Fatah movement in the Nablus region, Muhammad Hamdan, said: al-Aswad” and other Palestinian groups, but the vigilance of the resistance fighters and security forces did not allow the crime to be completed.”
The Israeli army attacked the old city of Nablus, targeting a stronghold of the Aren al-Aswad group, and violent clashes occurred in which Israeli forces used drones and anti-tank devices, and five young people were killed. However, Israeli Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi said that what happened in Nablus proves that “there is no safe haven for terrorists.”
