Russian President Vladimir Putin at yesterday’s meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation determined the amount of monthly monetary compensation to be received by military personnel mobilized to participate in the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
The President of Russia indicated that those mobilized with the rank of conscript would receive a monetary allowance of 195,000 rubles per month (about $3,200) after being enlisted in their units.
“I signed an instruction on strict observance of the established conditions and amounts of payments (for those mobilized), let me remind you that (the monthly monetary reward) should be at least 195 thousand rubles (for conscripts),” Putin said at the meeting.
The President of Russia added that the calculation of monetary allowance will begin from the day a citizen arrives at a military unit, including the training period.
He also indicated that additional financial support will be provided to the families of persons who will be drafted as part of the partial mobilization in Russia.
