The Future of the Atlantic Forum, an Anglo-American military conference on military, political and strategic relations, saw a presentation by British Royal Marines donning Iron Man flight suits to fly over the British aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth, reports The Sun.
The footage shows soldiers flying over New York Harbor before landing on the Navy’s main aircraft carrier. Iron Man’s dream has become a reality thanks to innovative high-speed, gravity-defying jet suits manufactured by Gravity Industries. Jet suits were invented by British inventor and former naval officer Richard Browning, who was nicknamed the real Iron Man.
The two-day conference was hosted by the aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth and aims to strengthen “the defense, security, trade and economic partnership between these countries and explore ways to promote innovation, economic growth and sustainability.” The officials said they were looking to “strengthen the trade and economic foundations of the Euro-Atlantic alliance and strengthen our security and defense partnerships with like-minded democratic allies.” The 65,000-ton ship arrived in New York on 28 September.
