After Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia was trying to destroy his country with massive explosions and intense rocket fire that rocked the capital Kyiv and dozens of Ukrainian cities, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov commented on recent events on Monday morning.
Kadyrov turned to his Ukrainian counterpart, stressing that he had previously warned him against confrontation with Russia.
“We warned you, Zelensky, Russia has not started yet,” he added.
This comes just hours after the president of the Chechen Republic confirmed through press statements that another 70,000 fighters from his country were ready to go to the area of the Russian special military operation.
Earlier, the Chechen president announced that another unit of militants would be sent to participate in the Russian military operation in Ukraine, and Kadyrov was preparing to send another combat unit in the near future.
