The Standing Committee of Legislative Officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council held its twenty-second meeting in Riyadh today under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdullah bin Adnan Al Suleimi, Deputy Minister of Justice for Regulation and International Cooperation. in the presence of representatives of all countries of the Cooperation Council and the participation of the Assistant Secretary for Legislative and Legal Affairs of the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Advisor Sultan bin Nasser Al Suwaydi. During the meeting, a number of agenda items were discussed, the most important of which were the results of the meetings of the working group to consider the draft uniform rules for officials of the legislative departments of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The Committee also discussed at its meeting the issue of the compilation of legislative terminology in the Gulf countries and recent works of general interest in the legislative field.
