The Saudi-Algerian Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council held a meeting with its colleague in the National Assembly of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, headed by Kamel Bouchama, at the headquarters of the National Assembly in the Algerian capital.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the National Assembly by activating friendship committees in the two parliaments of the two countries as part of parliamentary diplomacy, which aims to enhance the level of outstanding bilateral relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, which are aimed at strengthening relations between the two fraternal countries, mechanisms for intensifying cooperation, harmonizing positions and visions, strengthening coordination between the two councils, strengthening parliamentary cooperation in order to contribute to solving current problems at the regional and international level. levels.
