The second round of the Group D competition of the Asian Under-17 Championship Qualifier starts today, in which the Kuwait team will play Myanmar and the Maldives with India at the Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium in Al Khobar.
Saudi Arabia defeated Myanmar 6-0 in the first round of Group D, while Kuwait defeated the Maldives 6-0 in the second match of the same group.
With these results, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait topped the group standings with 3 points in one match each, while Myanmar and Maldives were left without points waiting for India to play their first match.
The team that takes first place in each group, as well as the six best teams that take second place in ten groups, advance to the final.
