Saudi Arabia’s first women’s football team has completed the second phase of its preparatory program for the upcoming sporting competition, a phase that included two friendly matches against Bhutan.
The two friendly matches resulted in a positive 3-3 draw in the first match, while the second match ended in a 4-2 victory for Bhutan.
The team started the first stage with a preparatory camp in the Austrian city of Salvden, which lasted 15 days, and then moved to Abha with a camp that lasted 17 days.
German national team coach Monika Staab said that the second stage of the preparatory program had achieved all its goals, noting that the technical staff had strived to improve the physical and technical level of the players throughout the period leading up to the two confrontations. with Bhutan, contacting teams with extensive experience in international matches, expressing a desire to officially enter the national team in the FIFA rankings.
