There is an attack on everyone in one, and Russia knows it.”

On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation to protect Donbass, in southeast Ukraine.
Putin stressed that Russia will work to disarm Ukraine, prevent nationalism in Ukraine and bring to justice the perpetrators of bloody crimes against civilians, including citizens of the Russian Federation.
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that “the Russian army did not direct any missile, air or artillery strikes on Ukrainian cities” and that Russian forces hit military infrastructure, air defense facilities, military airfields and Ukrainian aviation with high-precision weapons.
The ministry stressed that “civilians are not in danger”, that “the Ukrainian border guards did not show any resistance, and Ukraine’s air defense systems were completely destroyed.”
