Lawyer Khaled Abu Rashid, a golden member of the General Assembly, said that what is being raised regarding the nominations for the presidency of the Al-Ahli club is premature.
Abu Rashid confirmed that the golden members of the Al Ahli Club General Assembly are still in constant contact with the Ministry of Sports regarding the decisions expected to be made amid a letter sent to the Ministry after the recent Extraordinary General Meeting. meeting.
According to what Abu Rashid wrote through his personal Twitter account, he emphasized that the nomination of a new president of the Al Ahly club, if the incumbent president Majed al-Nafii leaves, will not be the same as it was in the past, because there is no no one who alone would have the votes of the General Assembly.
Abu Rashid wrote, “It is premature to talk about an Al-Ahly presidency while the administration is still in place,” adding, “We are still following the ministry, waiting for its decisions.”
However, Abu Rashid made it clear that no one would be the sole candidate for the nomination, as had been done in the past, because there was no one who alone had the majority of votes, and therefore the nomination of a candidate for membership in the Assembly by a majority in response to what was published on the nominations for the presidency of Al-Ahly.
