The King Salman Center for Humanitarian Aid and Assistance continued the implementation of a voluntary medical program to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in the city of Taroudant, the sister Kingdom of Morocco, as part of the Saudi Arabia Nour Volunteers program. Over the past two days, the center’s medical volunteer team has identified 1,600 cases, handed out 926 points, and performed 247 cataract surgeries, all of which, fortunately, have been successful.
This campaign is a continuation of projects to combat blindness, implemented by the Kingdom through the Center for low-income families in a number of fraternal and friendly countries.
