Argentina placed third, France fourth, England fifth, Spain sixth, Italy seventh, the Netherlands eighth, Portugal ninth and Denmark tenth. Senegal, the African champions, retained its top spot in the African teams rankings, followed by Morocco in second, Tunisia in third, Nigeria in fourth, Cameroon in fifth and Egypt in sixth. Iran remained at the top of the Asian teams rankings, followed by Japan, followed by South Korea in third, Australia in fourth, Qatar in fifth, Saudi Arabia in sixth and the UAE in seventh.
