Al Ahly club management stated that Abdul Rahman filed a request stating his desire not to continue after the Al Ahly team was relegated to the first degree, due to his ambition to be in the national team for Qatar World Cup 2022.
And Al Ahly management explained in a statement yesterday that the player continued his request to leave with the team returning to training, despite management’s attempts to keep him as one of the club’s kids from junior to first team.
Al-Ahli’s statement added that the player’s agent came to the team’s camp in Turkey and applied for his client’s departure. Gharib abandoned all attempts to continue, including not getting into training, and sent an email expressing his desire to buy the remainder of his contract to leave.
And Al Ahly’s statement was that the administration eventually agreed to sell the player’s contract to Al Nasr, emphasizing that Al Ahly would not stand on a player regardless of his history because Al Ahly is the one who makes the stars.
