President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, arrived in the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh from the United Arab Emirates today, Saturday, for a private visit that will last several days.
On the sidelines of his private visit, bilateral meetings between the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Saudi brothers are scheduled to discuss the deeply rooted historical relations between the two brotherly countries, areas of joint cooperation and efforts to bring peace and stability to Yemen.
The president of the Presidential Leadership Council will also discuss developments related to the accelerated deployment of generous Saudi funds in various areas, including generous interventions to support the council’s reforms in the services and development sectors.
President Al-Alimi commended the noble fraternal stand of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as the Yemeni people and their rightful leadership.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed, on his own behalf and the members of the Council, great gratitude for the active role played by the Kingdom in the legitimacy support coalition in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people and achieve their aspirations. restore state institutions and put an end to the Iranian-backed Houthi coup.
