Al Ittihad’s technical staff, led by Portugal’s Nuno Santo, had a hand in realizing the needs of the team in light of the results of the two friendly matches that Al Ittihad played at their current camp in Austria in preparation for the new season.
Al-Ittihad beat Swiss Lucerne 1-0 and then won a friendly against Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg 4/3.
Santo presented the club’s management with a report on the team’s needs during this summer Mercato as the federal administration seeks to provide the coach with everything needed to prepare the team for a strong fight in all championships of the new season.
The federal administration has so far completed deals to strengthen the defense, midfield and attack line, but there are still other centers that need urgent support in the current Mercato, especially since the team is banned from registering in the next winter Mercato.
For its part, the administration of the federation is currently seeking the termination of all financial obligations of the club so that it can obtain a certificate of financial solvency and register new transactions.
Al Ittihad have signed four contracts so far, two with locals and two with foreigners, as Ahmed Sharahili and Zakaria Havsavi, Angolan striker Hélder Costa and Egyptian international Tariq Hamed have been signed.
On the other hand, the team continues its training camp in Austria with morning and evening training under the supervision of technical staff.
