The management of the Al-Nasr club reported that it had filed a lawsuit with the FIFA International Football Association against the Egyptian player Mohamed Abu Jabal, demanding to recover the amount of 450 thousand dollars that had previously been paid to the player.

The player and his agent announced that his contract was concluded on July 31st and a yellow statement was added: Based on some information received by the club that the player cannot sign the contract in the aforementioned date and that he would still be bound by a contract with Zamalek, which was extended until 30 August this year, the player and his agent were contacted verbally. They were then asked in writing to provide evidence that the player was able to sign and was not bound by any other contract as of that date, but they did not provide any evidence and insisted that the information they provided was correct.
Al-Nasr went on to clarify in his press statement that after giving the player and his agent sufficient time to change his legal status through several official notices, and after contacting the Egyptian federation to verify some information, the Al-Nasr club notified the player. officially that what was agreed is void and without legal force, and that the Al-Nasr club cannot enter into any contractual relationship that leads to a serious violation of the law, and the club management has provided evidence, applied in accordance with Swiss law, in particular article 28. of the Code of Obligations, which will be invoked in the course of legal proceedings.
Al-Nasr indicated that 12 days after the announcement of the contract with the Colombian goalkeeper Ospina, Muhammad Abu Jabal sent us a notice in which he indicated that he had signed a contract with the Zamalek club and terminated the contract with them, which expires at the end of August. He had previously provided incorrect information that the agreement was based on a serious breach and incorrect information inconsistent with the reason on which the contractual obligation was based.
