His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council, today held an official session of talks with the Speaker of the Moroccan Council of Advisors, Al-Naam Mayara, in the Moroccan capital of Rabat, during which they discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco . During the talks, both sides stressed the importance of intensifying joint bilateral work and cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially the parliamentary meeting between the Shura Council and the Moroccan Council of Councilors, as well as the need to intensify the role of joint parliamentary friendship committees between them.
Subsequently, the Speaker of the Shura Council and the Speaker of the Council of Councilors signed a memorandum of understanding between the two councils, aimed at providing a basis for increased cooperation and continued interaction between the two parties.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two councils includes the encouragement of the exchange of parliamentary delegations, the intensification and development of bilateral cooperation between the two parties through the exchange of views and regular dialogue, areas of research, research and information.
His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council confirmed – following the signing of two MoUs – that the MoU is intended to promote and develop parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Moroccan Council of Councilors, and to intensify ongoing communication between them. , in pursuance of the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and His Majesty King Mohammed VI – God save them – and them constant striving to develop relations between the two fraternal countries at the highest level.
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh pointed out that the two MoUs embody a strong relationship between the leadership and the people of the two brotherly countries and will help to strengthen effective communication and joint bilateral action in various fields and at all levels, pointing to At the same time on the need to strengthen work and cooperation between the two fraternal countries.
For his part, the Chairman of the Council of Advisors of the Kingdom of Morocco, Al-Naam Mayara, indicated that this memorandum confirms the depth of Moroccan-Saudi relations, hoping for their development and strengthening.
