The West Asian Youth Volleyball Championship kicks off today, Thursday, at the Qatif Hall in the Eastern Province.
Yesterday, our team finished the group stage competition, topping the second group with a total of 12 points in four matches, while the Bahrain team topped the first group with 10 points. Today, Thursday, our team will meet with their counterpart from the UAE at 16:30, and the winner will advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
In the rest of today’s matches, Bahrain plays their Syrian counterpart at 12:30, then Iraq with Kuwait at 2:30 and Lebanon with Palestine at 6:30. The winning teams advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
