The organizing committee has revealed the schedule of the festival, the preliminary stage of which will begin tomorrow, on Saturday 23.07. until 08.10, with a break of 3 separate days, after which there will be a pause period until the 24th of the same month. , after which the final stage will begin and after that the final day will be determined.
The festival allocated financial prizes, considered the largest at the level of sports racing, worth more than 56 million rials, with a total of 591 runs, including one million rials, the value of the crown prince’s sword prize for the winner. highest score and local, Arab and international camel owners compete for it.
Notably, the last three editions of the festival, during which the Saudi Arabian Camel Federation has achieved consistent success, breaking the Guinness Book of Records 4 times, in terms of increasing the number of camels participating in each edition compared to the previous edition, in addition to launching the largest camel models.
All editions have also witnessed qualitative leaps in the prosperity of this vital sector in terms of the development of jogging grounds, services and facilities provided to owners, and regulations supporting camel sports. The festival has also contributed to making the Kingdom the world’s first place for interest and organization.
