According to Bloomberg, the US is moving its embassy in Ukraine to Poland for security reasons.
“The United States is moving its embassy in Ukraine to Poland for security reasons… and they may return if there is no Russian invasion,” Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs said on Twitter.
The US State Department and National Security Council declined to comment on this information.
On February 11, the United States announced a temporary reduction in the number of embassy staff in Kiev, and a number of other countries followed the next day, including Germany, Italy and Canada.
On February 14, Washington announced the transfer of the US embassy to Lvov in western Ukraine. The same decision was taken by the Australian and Canadian authorities, and some employees were transferred to Lvov by England and Lithuania.
