Al Akhdar youth team beat their Mauritanian counterpart by two at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Mahalla, Abha yesterday, Wednesday, in a match between the two teams opening the 18th Arab Youth Cup to be held in Abha until August 6th
Al-Akhdar added the first three points to his tally for the first group, which includes Mauritania and Iraq alongside him. Abdul Malik Al-Ayiri opened the scoring for Al-Akhdar at the start of the fifth minute, and his colleague Abdullah Radif doubled the score in the 15th minute.
The match was attended and observed by Dr. Raja Al Salami, General Secretary of the Arab Football Association, Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee, and Moaid Al Shehri, Tournament Director.
It is worth noting that the tournament will be held in the cities of Abha and Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia from July 20 to August 6 with the participation of 18 Arab teams divided into 6 groups.
