For his part, the chairman of the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Khalifa bin Saif Al Maktoumi, emphasized the importance of the tourism sector in economic activity, pointing out the importance of taking additional security measures to improve the tourism sector in the Arab countries.
The conference discussed a number of topics on the agenda, including the creation of a smartphone application for tourism security services, investing in social networks to improve tourism security and the impact of the pandemic (Covid-19) on tourism security, reviewing the experience of a number of Arab countries in the field of tourism security.
