Central Jeddah Development Company – a company wholly owned by the State Investment Fund – today signed a contract to design the “Sports Stadium” in the Downtown Jeddah project with GMB International Spin GmbH and Khatib and Alami as part of its plan to accelerate the pace of work on the downtown Jeddah project to creating a global destination in the heart of the city.
The design of the “Sports Stadium” has been adopted in accordance with international standards that emphasize sports, entertainment and cultural destinations, especially as the sports stadium aims to promote a vibrant and healthy lifestyle in the Jeddah community, as the attraction includes gardens with open green spaces. , a world-class sports ground and live venue for many events worthy of local forums, regional and international.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Salim, CEO of Central Jeddah Development Company, noted the importance of signing the contract for the design of the “Sports Stadium”, for the contribution of this landmark to the achievement of one of the goals of the State Investment Fund, emphasizing the importance of the sports sector in economic and social terms, as well as Kingdom Vision 2030 goals of building a prosperous economy and vibrant society in life.
He explained that the implementation of this contract is part of our plans to work on a project that will help improve the economic situation of the city of Jeddah and provide sports and entertainment centers that meet international standards for residents and visitors to the city of Jeddah from the inside. and outside the Kingdom.
