Israeli fighter jets attacked Gaza yesterday in response to rocket fire on Israel.
According to the Israeli army, a rocket factory in central Gaza, run by the Hamas movement, which rules in the besieged zone, was bombed.
Eyewitnesses reported that the site was being used as a training camp. Sirens sounded twice in southern Israel early Saturday morning, warning of incoming missiles.
The Israeli army added that one rocket was intercepted and three shells exploded in the open. So far, neither side has claimed responsibility for the operation.
