Seven children drowned in the Egyptian city of Qurna, west of Upper Egypt’s Luxor province, according to local media on Wednesday.
Reports indicated that there were 6 siblings among the children who drowned, and noted that river rescue teams found the bodies of children who died after a motorcycle overturned with three “trocycle” treatments they were riding. And before it fell into the canal, there were 10 people on board this motorcycle: the man behind the wheel, his wife, and their six children. Also on board were the driver’s mother and another young child of his relatives. Rescuers managed to save the driver, his wife, and mother, and the children drowned.
Including 6 brothers and sisters, 7 people died in a motorcycle accident in western Luxor, Mohamed Abdel Latif Al-Saghir.
