At least 19 people were killed and 14 injured when a bus plunged into a valley near a small town in western Pakistan, an official said on Sunday.
The bus skidded off a road near Danisar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa state as it was heading to Quetta from Rawalpindi, local official Ijaz Jaafar confirmed to AFP. Pakistan has a bad reputation in terms of road safety, especially due to the poor condition of roads and vehicles, as well as reckless driving by drivers.
Last month, at least 22 people were killed when a minibus plunged into a ravine in Balochistan.
