The draw for the eighth edition of the Arab States Under-20 Cup organized by the Arab Football Association and organized by the Saudi Arabian Football Association in Abha between 20 July and 6 August 2022 was held today in Dammam.
According to the results of the draw, it was divided into 6 groups, each of which has 3 teams, namely:
Group A: Saudi Arabia v Mauritania v Iraq
Second group: UAE team – Jordan team – Yemen team
Group C: Algeria, Lebanon and Libya.
Group D: Egypt, Oman, Somalia
Group E: Tunisia, Bahrain, Djibouti
Group F: Morocco v Sudan v Palestine
The draw took place in the presence of representatives of the national teams, tournament director Moaid Al-Shehri and a number of sports media professionals from around the Arab world.
It is noteworthy that the Saudi Arabian national team is the title holder of the last Arab States Cup among youth teams under 20, which was held in the capital of Egypt, Cairo, and won the Algerian national team in the final match.
