The Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned last Saturday’s terrorist attack near the city of Gao in the north of the Republic of Mali, which killed twenty civilians.
His Excellency Hussein Ibrahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims of this cowardly criminal act, as well as to the government and people of Mali.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation reaffirms its principled position that rejects terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reiterates its support for efforts to combat terrorism in the Sahel region.
