Al Wahda Club management continues their efforts to prepare their team for the new season after Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Pro Cup return. The unified administration has announced an official contract with coach Bruno Akrabiovic, an Italian of Bosnian origin. Akrapović, a former midfielder who spent his entire professional life in the German league, was born in Croatia and holds both Bosnian and Italian citizenship. Al Wahda’s new coach has a good history, having previously worked with several European teams. Among his best achievements are winning the Bulgarian Cup and the Bulgarian Super Cup, as well as the Macedonian Cup. He also led Lokomotiv Bulgaria to a European Cup game against Tottenham Hotspur. The coach is distinguished by his focus on young players and their development, and this is reflected in his training path with all the teams he has coached.
