The Saudi Arabia Sport for All Federation launched a virtual educational platform called “My School is My Movement” between June and December to educate teachers, male and female educators, coaches, university students of both sexes, and anyone who wants to develop their abilities.
The platform also aims to provide a healthier and more active environment for our students in the Kingdom in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Saudi School Sports Federation.
The course will be available to those over the age of eighteen through innovative learning through an e-learning platform that provides instructions on various physical exercises for students and introduces simple exercises in all classes and the whole school day to ensure sustainability. It also aims to give students the opportunity to develop healthy habits without the use of equipment and use sport to instill educational values in students.
To ensure continued participation in sports during the school holidays, participation in the course is also open to anyone aged eighteen and over. This platform is one of the Saudi Sports for All initiatives under the Ministry of Sports system, which aims to achieve the goals of the Quality of Life program. be presented to those who have completed ten hours of study in the course.
The program includes the most important goals pursued by the Saudi Sports Federation for All, namely: to increase the awareness of students, teachers and parents about the importance of physical activity and its role in increasing the ability of students to learn and understand, and to increase the participation of their children’s families in formation of a healthy lifestyle that increases their physical capabilities, and the development of physical education mechanisms used in schools through the introduction of new sports methods.
It is planned that the program will involve many participants in increasing the physical activity norms currently used in schools, and will pay more attention to them. Help students, teachers and parents make movement and activity an integral part of their daily habits.
The Saudi Sports for All Federation is focusing on creating opportunities for children and their families to participate in community sports activities through many sports programs and activities that have been launched in the past, such as summer camps, the activation of neighborhood club centers and others.
It is worth noting that the Federation continues its approach based on achieving the goals of the Ministry of Sports and the Quality of Life Program, which is one of the goals of the Kingdom Vision 2030 to increase the number of those who are regularly engaged in physical activity in the kingdom to 40% by 2030 by providing the opportunity to participate in sports activities to all members of society.
