The Disciplinary Committee of the International Football Association (FIFA) ordered Al-Ahly Jeddah to pay financial contributions to the companies Futbolpromaster and Promoesport, which represent commissions to these two companies in exchange for the transfer of players to the club, and “dal gave Al-Ahly Jeddah” 30 days from the date of notification of the decision to pay or apply the agreed penalties, including a ban on scoring, deductions from points, and even a reduction.
The decisions of the Disciplinary Committee were taken after the club failed to comply with the earlier decisions of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) regarding the contributions of the two companies, but the people of Jeddah completely ignored these decisions, and the “Disciplinary” decisions regarding the contributions of “Promoesport International” were as follows:
1. Al-Ahli Club of Saudi Arabia is found to be liable for the incomplete enforcement of the decision of the Court of Arbitration for Sport dated December 22, 2021.
2. Al-Ahly Club from Saudi Arabia has requested payment for Promoesport International 2015, SLU as follows:
EUR 800,000 plus interest at 5% per annum from 1 September 2021 until full and final repayment.
A fine of 150,000 euros.
5,000 Swiss francs as a contribution towards legal costs.
3. The Al Ahli Club of Saudi Arabia is given a deadline of 30 days from the date of notification of the current decision on the payment of the said amount.
After the expiration of the above period and in case of non-execution or non-fulfilment of the decision within the set period, a transfer ban will be declared until the full amount due is paid or the non-financial decision is fulfilled, the transfer ban will be automatically enforced by the Federation Saudi Arabia at the national and international levels. For football and FIFA respectively, without the need for another official decision or order of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee or its secretariat, in addition, points deduction or appointment. A lower score may also be required, as well as a transfer ban in case of continued failure or repetition of offenses or serious violations , or if for any reason a full translation cannot be assigned or provided.
4. The Al Ahli club from Saudi Arabia was sentenced to pay a fine of 30,000 Swiss francs.
5. The fine is paid within 30 days from the date of notification of the decision.
Although the decisions of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee against Al Ahli Jeddah were the fault of Soccerpromaster, it has been proven that the Saudi Arabian club Al Ahly is responsible for the incomplete implementation of the decision made by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. October 04, 2021
2. Al-Ahly from Saudi Arabia demanded payment of money to the Futbolpromaster company. in the following way:-
Total amount of USD 650,000 with 5% interest on a total amount of USD 1,650,000 for the period from August 5, 2018 to October 18, 2018 and for a total amount of USD 900,000 for the period from October 19, 2018 to July 31, 2019 of the year.
and (iii) in the total amount of USD 650,000.00 as of August 1, 2019 prior to the actual payment date.”
CHF 10,000 as a legal fee in connection with the arbitration.
3. The Al Ahli Club of Saudi Arabia is given a deadline of 30 days from the date of notification of the current decision on the payment of the said amount.
After the expiration of the above period, and in the event of non-performance or non-completion of the decision within the specified period, a transfer ban will be declared until the full amount due has been paid or the non-financial decision has been completed.
The transfer ban will be automatically enforced at national and international levels by the Saudi Arabian Football Association and FIFA respectively, without the need for another official decision or order by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee or its secretariat.
In addition, a points deduction or downgrade may be required, as well as a transfer ban if failures continue, offenses or serious offenses are repeated, or a full transfer cannot be forced or offered for any reason.
4. Orders the Al-Ahly club from Saudi Arabia to pay a fine of 25,000 Swiss francs.
5. The fine is paid within 30 days from the date of notification of the decision.
