The Kuwait Football Association has decided to postpone the final match of the Amir Cup between Salmiya and Kazma, which was scheduled for today, Monday, at the Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium due to bad weather as a result of a sandstorm in the country.
The final match is scheduled for Tuesday.
This is the second time in a row that the match has been postponed for the same reason after it was scheduled for last Monday.
This matchup is the official end to a long season that has seen massive swings, especially in the final of this particular competition which features two teams that have been missing out on the title for a long time knowing that Kazma has previously won on that front. seven times compared to two for Salmiya.
The last coronation of Orange, Kazma’s title, in the competition was in the 2010-2011 season, when he beat Kuwait 1-0, while Al-Samawi, Salmiya’s title, failed to top the podium 21 years ago when he beat Kazma himself 2-1 in the 2000-2001 season final knowing it was the only final match between the two teams.
