French President Emmanuel Macron travels to Abu Dhabi today to express his condolences on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
The French President said that Macron will express “support for his brother, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as the rest of the family and all the people of the Emirates.”
On Friday, Emmanuel Macron spoke to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, who was elected president of the wealthy Gulf state yesterday after being seen as its de facto leader since Sheikh Khalifa fell ill in 2014.
