Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Entertainment Authority, promised to hold a huge party if the Al-Ittihad team is crowned the title of the current version of Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Professional League.
Al-Sheikh announced at one location via the microblogging site Twitter that he intended to hold a party for the Al-Ittihad club on the sidelines of the season in Jeddah in the event that Al-Ittihad won the league title.
“If the season in Jeddah orders a party for the Al Ittihad club, if the league is reached, we are ready for anything,” he said.
Turki’s adviser Al-Sheikh thought the title was in the hands of Al-Ittihad, and if he beat Al-Hilal on Sunday, his matches in the last three rounds would be decided.
Turki Al-Sheikh confirmed that Al-Ittihad is very dear to him, stressing that the return of the team to the fight for championships and titles once again contributes to the development of Saudi football.
