Badminton International Federation President Paul Eric presented the World’s Best Badminton Federation Participation Award to Saudi Badminton President Muqrin bin Muhammad Al Muqrin on the sidelines of the 2022 AD General Assembly of the Badminton International Federation held in the Thai capital Bangkok with the participation of 196 member countries of the International Badminton Federation. The meeting included an awards ceremony for Badminton International Competitions in several areas: International Federation Program Impact Award, Participation Award, Sports Promotion Award, and Community Engagement and Engagement Award. the competition entered the participation branch through 9 separate projects. Through this, it has surpassed the participation of more than 100 developed countries in the game of badminton by participating in the competition in its various projects, namely: national coaches training project, training of national referees, local tournaments project, revitalization project games in local clubs and outdoor badminton, as well as a training camp project for the Saudi Badminton Team, an overseas participation project for the Saudi National Team, a cooperation project with the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, and a cooperation project with the Saudi Special Olympics.
The award was given in recognition of the efforts made by the federation with the support of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, which resulted in outstanding achievements in the dissemination and development of badminton in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
