An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale hit Afghanistan and Pakistan tonight.
The Pakistan Meteorological and Geological Service said the quake’s epicenter was at a depth of 180 kilometers in the Hindu Kush mountains in northern Afghanistan.
His shock was felt by the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan, parts of India, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
There were no immediate reports of human or material losses in Pakistan, but the Pakistani authorities have put the civil defense forces on full alert to cope with any circumstances that may arise.
