Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo, striker for Saudi club Al-Nasr, has confirmed that the Saudi league is steadily progressing to become one of the top five leagues in the world.
Al Nasr’s balance sheet rose to 63 points, finishing in second place, three points behind leaders Al Ittihad, with two rounds to go in the league.
Ronaldo confirmed in televised statements after the match: “The Saudi League is a strong league and it’s not easy, it needs players and it will be in the top five leagues in the world.”
He continued, “I think this country has great opportunities.”
