Today, 30 Cameroonian women were released who were previously kidnapped by rebels in western Cameroon. “They were released by the kidnappers after three days of detention,” said Denis Omgba, an official with the Cameroon Ministry of Communications.
The women were abducted on 20 May by armed terrorists in the village of Kajum Keiko in the north-west of the country after they took part in a demonstration against the arbitrary rule of the rebels.
