Football Competitions at the 15th Arab Games in Algiers

Football competitions will be held as part of the 15th Arab Games in Algiers from July 5 to 14, 2023. Eight teams will participate in the tournament, namely Algeria, Oman, Lebanon, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Palestine, and Mauritania. The championship matches will be held in the cities of Annaba and Constantine.

Group Stage Draw

According to the results of the group stage draw, the teams were divided into two groups. The first group includes Algeria, Oman, Lebanon, and Sudan. The second group includes Saudi Arabia, Syria, Palestine, and Mauritania.

First Round Matches

Tomorrow, July 2, four matches of the first round of the competition will take place. The teams of Lebanon and Sudan will face each other in Group A at the stadium on May 19 in Annaba. Following that, Algeria and Oman will compete in the same group.

In the second group, the Saudi Arabian national team will meet with the Syrian national team. Additionally, the national teams of Palestine and Mauritania will play at the Martyr Hamlawi Stadium in the city of Constantine.

Tournament Schedule

The group stage of the tournament will last until July 8. The semi-final competition will be held on July 11, while the matches for the third and final places will be held on the fourteenth of this month.
